The policy is five numbers, and they have to be written down
Points per unexcused absence, per tardy and per no-call, the threshold that ends employment, and the rolling window the points count in: that is the whole policy as arithmetic, and a system that does not hold those numbers cannot score anything consistently. The policy template on this site states them from your own figures.
Every event is scored the same way, by the numbers, not the lead
A tardy is worth what the policy says whichever lead took the roll call, and an absence a doctor's note excuses scores nothing. The system holds the events against the employee and applies the policy's points, so the total in the window is the same whoever asks and whenever.

An employee who can see their points is an employee who cannot say they were never told, and a write-up that cites the policy paragraph is one that stands up. The paid plan keeps every shift, every point and every write-up against the person, and exports the lot when the question comes.
