This scores an employee's attendance points the way the policy does. Unexcused absences, tardies and no-call, no-shows in the rolling window, each at the points your policy gives them, add up to the points on the record; the threshold less that total is the room left; and the total as a share of the threshold is how far along the person is. Every figure is yours; the tool publishes no policy. Free, on the page, no account; the paid plan keeps the points against the employee and updates them as shifts are worked.
Events times points, by the policy, not the lead
Each event in the window scores what the policy gives it: absences at one point, tardies at half, no-calls at two on the worked example. The calculator multiplies each count by its points and adds them, so the total is the same whichever lead counted the events and whenever the question is asked.
The room left is the figure the conversation needs
The threshold less the points on the record is how much room the employee has, and it is the number that decides whether the next conversation is a reminder or a final warning. One point of room on the worked example is a written warning; two more tardies is the line.
Share of the threshold, so the pattern is seen early
Points as a percentage of the threshold shows how far along the person is regardless of the policy's scale, which lets a lead compare a crew on one figure. The paid plan keeps it per employee, moves points out of the window as they age, and reminds the lead when someone crosses the level the policy sets for a warning.

Is this a free attendance points calculator?
Yes. Enter the absences, tardies and no-calls in the window, your policy's points for each and the threshold, and it works out the points on the record, the room left and the share of the threshold on the page, no account and no card. Do points fall off?
Under most policies, yes, after the rolling window the policy sets, and only events inside the window count. Enter the events inside your window; the paid plan holds each event's date and drops it from the total the day it ages out.
What if an absence was excused?
Leave it out of the count. The calculator scores what you enter as unexcused; an absence covered by a doctor's note or protected leave scores nothing under most policies and under the law, and whether one qualifies is the policy's decision and your adviser's.
